2024 Memberships are now available for purchase. 

 

With the exception of those who live more than one hour outside of the Winnipeg area, all members are required to complete 3 volunteer shifts as part of their membership*. 

MHJA has  reciprocity for the 2024 show year with the following organizations:
 

•  Manitoba Horse Trials - Summer Smiles and Fall Harvest

• Manitoba Pony Club - Summer Smiles and Fall Harvest

• Brandon Light Horse - Reciprocity at all MHJA shows, including Derby (memberships for MHJA members waived at Brandon winter/spring schooling shows and Wheat City).  

 
Those eligible under the reciprocity agreement will not have to purchase a membership unless they would like to accrue year-end points.  
 
Those competing from out of province do not require an MHJA membership, unless they would like to accrue year end points. 

For all other competitors, memberships are required for riders and horse owners competing at MHJA shows and required to accrue year-end points for the 2024 season.  This includes points from the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair (membership must be purchased prior to Fair.

Please note that memberships for the 2024 season must be purchased by May 1, 2024 to avoid a late payment fee of $25.

*For those opting not to volunteer, invoices for the volunteer deposit of $200 will be sent out May 1, 2024 with payment due upon receipt of invoice.
