At MHJA you have great opportunities to be a part of the success at shows and events throughout the year.  Volunteers are what help our organization run smoothly.  We have annual events that need your support.


Some of these responsibilities include:

  • Working the Hunter/ Jumper gate

  • Back up Jumper timer

  • Ring announcer for Hunter and/or Jumper ring

  • Ribbon Presentation 

  • Shavings monitor

Hour Requirements


Individual memberships: 10 volunteer hours

Family memberships: 16 volunteer hours

Volunteer Deposits are refunded once the required hours have been fulfilled.

**hours may be filled by family members/friends**

Please note that not all shifts you are interested in will be available.  They are filled on a first come, first served basis.
