Membership
Becoming a member of the MHJA is a great opportunity to learn and engage as part of the hunter/jumper community in Manitoba.
We host shows from May to September and occasionally clinics throughout the year. Whether you are a professional, trainer or attending your first show, as a member of the MHJA you will be part of a friendly organization where you can meet riders, coaches and officials who share your passion for the sport and can help you achieve your goals. ALL RIDERS, OWNERS & COACHES MUST HAVE VALID MEMBERSHIPS

MHJA has several membership options:​​

Associate Membership $21/year - For those who do not wish to participate or compete, but would like to support MHJA​
MHJA Heritage Membership $75/year - For those riders competing on the Heritage Circuit only.
Full MHJA Junior Membership $100/year - For competitors who are under 18 years old or younger for the 2026 calendar year.
​Full MHJA Senior Membership $100/year - For Senior competitors, Owners and Coaches.

Memberships can be renewed starting February 1, 2026 , with early-bird pricing until April 1, 2026. Memberships will increase by $25 after April 1, 2026.

A volunteer component is part of the membership with MHJA, with the exception of the Associate membership. For those opting out of volunteering, a $200 payment must be selected at time of membership. For those choosing to volunteer, your volunteer shift needs to be booked by April 1, 2026 (see volunteer sign up page), otherwise the fee will be added to your first show bill.

Those living outside of the 100km radius are also exempt from volunteering. (see map below)
